KONA
CAFÉ HAS RECEIVED TWO GREAT REVIEWS.
Kona Café, our estate Kona coffee, placed
as a finalist in the Hawaii Coffee Association's annual cupping
contest in Kona with a score of 85.05. We were ranked among all
Hawaii coffees, not just Kona coffees. The HCA Board's Education
and Cupping Chair writes to us, "Coffees in the 80's are very
good coffees! The fact that you were above 85 puts you with the
'elite' coffees." The cuppers' descriptions will be coming
soon.
The Coffee Review based in Berkeley, CA describes Kona Café
as "soft and round with good intensity. Flavor and aroma fuse
notes of chocolate and nut with a soft, sweet-toned fruit."
Kona Café received a score of 89. You can see the whole review
at coffeereview.com.
BB of Texas, a loyal customer, says "Eighty schmeighty. I give
you guys 90's all the way." Thank you.
MK of Berkeley, CA says, "There has never been any doubt that
your coffee is top of the line! Congratulations on a great review!
You make the best Kona, period!"
Kona Café is the low elevation coffee in Naupaka, so our
Naupaka Kona Coffee shares in the honors.
Our
Naupaka Kona coffee has placed among the top three coffees in the
Chef''s Choice cupping at the Cream of the Crop competition at the
Four Season's Resort in Kona, Hawaii.
